Amanita Muscaria Actual Trip Studied

This an episode on Amanita Muscaria mushroom or Fly Agaric and its psychedelic use, by the British show Sacred Weed. Unfortunatly, they dont tell you how they prepared it, but it an awsome show. Sacred Weeds only has about four or five episodes, before it was cancelled. The others are on Salvia Divinorum, Henbane and Blue Lotus. Amanta is a special shamanic tool.

The Shaman is the Forest's Rep (and vice versa)

This is just a two minute video by National Geograpic, shot in the Amazon. The Video is about how the shaman knows the useful plants in the rainforest and how scientists have just caught on and are recording the shamans knowledge. The amazon is being destroyed and the fact that the shaman knows the medicinal value of it is really its last hope, even though without the medicine from the rainforest we have no hope. Think about that, then think about this: said by Paul Stamets in the intro to Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms: "The temparate forests of North America, particularly the mycologically (emphasis mine)rich Pacific Northwest, may well be viewed as the pharmaceutical companies viewed the Amazon Basin earlier in the twentieth century." The northen forests are medicninally rich as well especially when it comes to fungi, and their native shaminc tool is the magic mushroom.
